1.       Lynx piped piper (the lynx effect) this is produced by the lynx company and they have created this advertisement to attract people to buy their product which are males.
2.       The lynx effect advert creates women to be an alternative ideology which is interested by the subordinate groups the way this adverts shows women to be is followers and less dominant which is a stereotype and it’s easy for the male to attract a woman by spraying the lynx.  In contrast the male who sprays the lynx has become the main attraction by him being followed and this conveys control which is a stereotype for males.
3.       Woman are portrayed as desperate and weak in this advert as it is so easy for the dominant person to engage women, just by spraying the spray the women have shown that the stereotype they possess is true and the males are dominant which is conveyed by the stereotype they have been tagged with.
4.       The reason why this alternative ideology is conveyed in this advert is to attract the subordinate group. And the whole effect of lynx connotes that you will be popular amongst the ladies and is more appealing than other people as women leave guys to follow the dominant male in the advert.
5.       The reason this advert is portrayed to say that you don’t need a lot of money to become popular and dominant. Furthermore this advert is aimed at males from young teenagers to a much higher age the reason why this advert has a big target audience is because this product would appeal to all males and they would want to represent the stereotype of powerful and dominant. The advert is used to appeal to people who do not convey their love to their partner, so spraying lynx will make them become confident and bold.

1.       The L’Oreal Paris elvive advert is produced by the people who created the shampoo and this advert is used to boost sales of their product.
2.       The L’Oreal Paris elvive advert is used to convey an alternative ideology as the use of a woman conveys this and this would interest a subordinate group and this advert shows women as important as they would like to have their hair shimmer furthermore is shows woman as being significant “because where worth it”. Furthermore it makes their hair stronger which connotes that women when using the shampoo will make the women dominant chased around by men.
3.       The woman is portrayed as independent and happy by using the product and other people would buy the product to become more dominant. Cheryl Cole is shown looking beautiful which would allow other women to look beautiful and men would chase them around. This advert disagrees with the stereotypes given to women.
4.       This representation is chosen to convey women as more of a dominant ideology rather than an alternative ideology. And this attracts the subordinate group to show that they can become more influential in society. And this makes the product seem to change people to make them more attractive and less shy.
5.       The L’Oreal Paris elvive advert is produced to target a wide range of women and this may attract teenagers as well and this used to make them the subject matter. And this advert creates a new stereotype for women and makes them seem more sophisticated and intelligent. This advert is good to create more buoyancy amongst women.
