The colours which are used in this poster are a dark blue and this is a consistent colour scheme throughout the poster and the mood and atmosphere this poster creates is a sense of fear. Furthermore there is a bright red colour in the shape of a bat and this is a contrast to the dark dull background and this represents love and destruction. Furthermore the iconic bat symbol in red suggests that batman is different and is a hero in distinguish to the dark background where others maybe bad and harmful.
There is the main image of the iconic hero batman along with a picture of the bat above batman which emphasises his symbol and the symbol represents batman. The image of batman is placed in the middle of the poster, to convey his superiority as he is the main image and therefore the most important person in the film.

Batman is placed in an urban city as there maybe crime and people need to be saved therefore this is the reason why the director has placed batman where he has.
There is no real lighting expect on the bat symbol which is very intense and vibrant. This infers importance.
Batman appears to be in and fighting position which suggests he is ready for the challenges he is going to have to encounter.
Overall this advert is very well presented in order to appeal to people as it looks intriguing with the main focused image and colours all used to create a ambiguity.
